Holm Therapies
Specialist Psychological Therapies Service
Hi, I’m Kylie, founder of Holm Therapies, offering both online and in-person therapy in Locks Heath, Hampshire.
Are you feeling held back by a fear of failure or past memories that continue to affect your daily life? As a highly-experienced mental health professional and psychological therapist, I’m here to guide you toward lasting change.
I’ll work with you to understand what’s brought you to therapy and collaborate on a personalised treatment plan that supports your goals. I’m passionate about what I do and committed to helping you achieve the best possible outcomes.
I am trained in three evidence-based treatments (treatments that we know work through extensive research). I take a trauma-informed approach to uncover the root causes of your challenges, providing lasting healing that addresses the core of the issue. I primarily use EMDR to process and resolve trauma or deeply ingrained beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. I also integrate Interpersonal Therapy to support those struggling with relationship issues, and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) to identify and break negative cycles.
If you're a clinician seeking IPT supervision from an accredited IPT supervisor and / or CBT supervision, please check out my supervision page for more information.

About me:
I have over 13 years of experience as a mental health professional, more recently working as an NHS Clinical Manager overseeing a team of psychological therapists and building a team of Interpersonal Therapists in a Talking Therapies Service. I am a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), IPT UK-accredited Interpersonal Therapist, and a trained EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing). I’m passionate about helping clients understand the roots of their struggles and create a personalised treatment plan that aligns with their goals.
How can psychological therapy help me?
Therapy sessions typically last up to 60 minutes and are scheduled weekly. This frequency helps build momentum, allowing you to make progress, try new ways of thinking or behaving, and have time between sessions to reflect and gain new insights.
In our first session, we will explore what has brought you to therapy, get to know each other, and discuss your goals for our work together. We will also decide how many sessions may be needed and schedule a consistent time that works for you.
Drawing from a broad range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, I tailor sessions to your unique needs and goals. I can support you with a wide range of difficulties, and specialise in the following areas:
Trauma: This includes any distressing or traumatic events that have impacted how you see yourself or others. I have a particular focus on birth trauma and childhood trauma, and I also work with clients diagnosed with PTSD.
Depression and Anxiety: Whether you're dealing with a diagnosed condition such as OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), panic disorder, health anxiety, or social anxiety, or if you've noticed an increase in anxiety recently and want to understand its causes, I can help.
Relationship Difficulties: I support individuals dealing with challenges in their relationships, whether with a partner, family, or friends. This also includes issues around forming new relationships or coping with significant life changes.
If you're ready to make real changes and start feeling better, reach out today to schedule your first session. I’m here to help you unlock your potential and reach your goals.
